Develop new skills. Soar to great heights. Being a Cub opens up a whole other world.

Our Cubs Pack runs on a Thursday evening, 6.40pm - 8.00pm. The Cubs team is Kirsty, Mark and Paul with help from parents on a rota.

Cubs are young people aged 8 to 10½ who:
  - Master new skills and try new things
  - Have fun and go on adventures
  - Make friends
  - Are curious about the world around them
  - Help others and make a difference, in their own communities and beyond
Every week, they gather in groups called Cub Packs to take part in lots of interesting and challenging activities – achieving anything they set their minds to, and having lots of fun along the way.

We hike, camp, climb, shoot, paddle, and just about anything else that is adventurous. We try to make sure all cubs get a chance for some nights away each year.

Badge activities include campfire cooking, first aid, science experiments, map reading and crafts. Our programme provides the opportunity for the young people to work towards their Chief Scout’s Silver Award, which is the highest award they can gain in Cubs.
