Our Scout Group is based in the Brierdene area of Whitley Bay. Our headquarters is located a stone's throw from the beach, situated within 19 acres of rolling parkland and woods known as the Dene and is one of the largest and oldest Scout buildings in the District.

The Group is run by volunteers who provide a fun-filled programme of activity, adventure and events for young people from 6 to 14 years of age. 

We currently have 3 sections, Beavers (age 6-8 years), Cubs (aged 8-10½ years) and Scouts (age 10½-14 years). You can check the pages for more information about each section.
